Befriending and Forget-me-not are two of our most important services for older people in Eastbourne.
They offer long-term support to lonely, frail or housebound older people, who live alone and do not have family or friends living nearby. The service provides care and friendship through a phone call or visit, to share a cup of tea and a chat.
Our Befriending service offers a regular visitor to give friendship and support to isolated older people who are unable
to leave their home.
Forget-me-not is a telephone befriending service that provides a regular contact call to brighten the day of an
isolated older person.
If you or someone you know would like to find out more about these services please contact Mari Easton on
